How can I reduce the size of images?
| 1. | Call Convert files. The reduced images can be found under Workdirectory\Organizer\Conversions
| 2. | Call Export Web album, and determine the image width. The reduced images can be found under Workdirectory\Organizer\Album Export
| 3. | Call Mail Files. The reduced images can be found under Workdirectory\Organizer\Conversions
| 4. | Open the image in the Image Editor. Call Edit > Resize, and save the result manually under a new filename.
| 5. | Open the image in the Image Editor. Call File > Save As, and store the image under a more efficient format (i.e. BMP to JPEG) or using a different quality factor.
| · | The easiest and most efficient way to reduce the disk space for your images, is to store them in the JPEG (photos) or GIF (web graphics) format. If you have a directory with BMP files for instance, you can run a Batch Conversion over it, with a filetype change to JPEG, to drastically reduce the needed disk space.
| · | If you archive JPEG or other compressed images using the CodedColor ZIP Utility, you will not gain any diskspace, as JPEGs are already compressed. For uncompressed BMPs however, you will see a reduction.
